Course Description: The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to Wall Street and its finance. There will be a focus on the interactions between banks, corporations, and investors. This course includes lectures on such topics as how corporations borrow money, how bank lending works, stock exchanges and their trading platforms, financial accounting and auditing procedures used by investors. Students will be expected to complete a small research project in the semester.
