Requests that come from it represent an urgent need for OCIO to supply IT tools to new employee for reasonable accommodation requests. Mr. Allotey is studying at Penn State University working full time on a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. This education is greatly enhancing the technical expertise he already provides DSS but also improving his written communication skills and financial background. Mr. Allotey took over BRM responsibilities for the IO and CI Directorates for a 3 month period. During this time he attended CMO briefings in Linthicum MD for the Prioritization Initiative and for the entire fiscal year followed all DiT briefings and information releases. For this objective

Mr. Allotey’s research and documentation allowed the purchase and approval of technology that can safely and securely move all DSS data offsite to a DISA environment
greatly reducing the support cost of the onsite NIPR environment at RKB. He also worked with the team to track all unsupported SharePoint 2007 sites and work with the customers and contractor team to ensure all 700 sites were upgraded by Sept FY17. He greatly exceeded set goals by completing all sites in July and ensuring everything is ready to go for the migration in FY18. In addition Mr. Allotey collaborated with the OCIO Testing team and HCMO to build test cases for the newly redesigned 182 system ensuring all aspects of the tool follow rigorous independent testing protocols before release. This will be the first SharePoint tool to follow such a course and will result in increased agency uptime and satisfaction.
